Anthony Allen Whorten, 37 of Spruce Pine, NC. Deputy W. Hobson arrested Whorten for failure to appear in court on misdemeanor charges. He was issued $500.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 4/10/2024.
Matthew Colonel Ledford, 56 of Bakersville, NC. Detective J. Masters arrested Ledford for felony possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell/manufacture a controlled substance, maintain a vehicle/dwelling place controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia X 4. He was issued $50,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 3/13/2024.
