Why get on here when you know nothing clearly? It’s not a mandatory 2 hr practice, friend. It’s an hour but because some if not most the kids like it so much they want to stay and get in a longer practice. Most coaches have kids and pick their own to make having practice and going to practice more convenient on themselves and their families. My boy does well in school with or without the 4 hours for basketball through the week. So what if he wants to put in the time rather than be on video games or electronics like most kids now a days. How ridiculous. They go to school almost 7hrs a day but I don’t see you complaining about that and missed family time. It appears you don’t have a child that plays because they go through the fundamentals course before being on teams. So please hush if you know nothing. Next.
