The Mitchell County Democratic Party (MCDP) will host its county convention and all Democrats are urged to attend. This meeting will be held at 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in the Mitchell County Board of Education Center conference room (72 Ledger School Road, Bakersville, NC 28705).
The county convention will elect delegates to the District Convention, consider resolutions forwarded from the precinct meetings, and other party business in preparation for the 2024 elections.
All Democrats in Mitchell County are urged to attend the county convention, and everyone is encouraged to bring a friend or two with them.
