Truth in Labeling

As I said in my first post on this topic, I’m not defending “big pharma” or processed food, I stay away from both. I read my labels. Many of the ingredients in processed food in our country are not healthy and many are harmful. I cook from scratch, personally, and control what my family eats. That is an extremely easy point to make and message to convey without linking people to websites and blogs run by people who are well known for exploiting the scientific ignorance and fear of her followers to sell her services, blog and books, as well as products containing the very things she says she’s concerned about if they pay her enough. There is much to be skeptical about on that site. Yet some people just like to argue, defend and double down. Because I am a writer who knows how to do research and verify sources I am warning people about engaging with this blogger and suggesting the poster use more reliable sources with less chance of doing harm.
