Library hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9a.m. to 5p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 9a.m. to 7p.m. Saturday hours are 10a.m. to 1p.m.

The Book Cellar Annex on Town Square is now open Monday through Saturday from 11a.m. to 3p.m. and they accept donations.

Conference rooms can be reserved at the library. Our small and large conference rooms may be reserved up to 90 days in advance and require at least 48 hours notice. The rooms are for use by local agencies, clubs and interest groups and no selling or other collection of funds is permitted. The rooms are not reserved for individuals. Call the library to check availability and to get a reservation form or more information. The tutoring room is still available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please remember that books stay on our hold shelf for 7 days before they are returned to their library of origin. You have 7 days to pick them up.

CLOSINGS: The library will be closed Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30 in observance of the Easter holiday.

UPCOMING EVENTS: On April 8 the library will be hosting an eclipse viewing event on the library grounds. Eclipse glasses and a safe telescope viewing will be available. Eclipse related crafts and activities will also be on hand. Light refreshments will be served. In case of rain, activities will still be available indoors. Please remember: Don’t ever look directly at the sun without proper eye protection even during a partial eclipse as this can result in serious and permanent eye damage.

Spanish/English Café on March 26: Come share food and fun while you practice your Spanish or English in conversation with other folks learning a new language. Call or visit your library to sign up.

ONGOING EVENTS:

You can now sign up for our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. The program provides reading logs to track the books your child reads or that you read to your child and gives prizes for every 100 books read. Any child not yet in kindergarten is eligible to sign up. Receive a free tote bag when you join the program.

Story Time will be on March 21 at 11:00 a.m. with our Children’s Librarian Miss Natasha. The theme is Outer Space.

Wednesday Readers Book Club: The next meeting will be held at the library on March 20 at 10a.m. The book for March is The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise by Colleen Oakley.

Ales & Tales Book Club: Meets the third Sunday of each month at 2:00p.m.at Homeplace Brewery. The next meeting is March 24. The book for March is Beneath A Scarlet Sky by Mark Sullivan.
