Mitchell Sheriff’s Report 4/14 – 4/21/24

Arrest:

Nicholas Gregory Pendley, 25 of Spruce Pine, NC. Mitchell County Deputies arrested Pendley for felony warrants issued by McDowell County. He was issued no bond and scheduled to appear in court on 4/24/2024.

Chad Everett Boyd, 42 of Marion, NC. Deputy D. LaPlante arrested Boyd for misdemeanor, attempted breaking and entering. He was issued no bond and scheduled to appear in court on 5/8/2024.

Patrick Byron Murphy, 34 of Spruce Pine, NC. Deputy W. Hobson arrested Murphy for failure to pay support. He was issued $315.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 4/24/204.

Devin O’Six, 25 of Spruce Pine, NC. Deputy W. Hobson arrested O’Six for failure to appear in court on misdemeanor charges. He was issued $3,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 5/6/2024.

Andy Bailey, 41 of Spruce Pine, NC. Detective S. Hughes arrested Bailey for felony breaking and entering. He was issued $25,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 5/8/2024.

Jeffery Adam Hopson, 41 of Bakersville, NC. Detective J. Masters arrested Hopson for felony possession of Methamphetamine, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a controlled substance, maintain vehicle/dwell/place controlled substance, misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia and resisting public officer X 3. He was issued $50,000.00 bond and scheduled to appear in court on 5/8/2024.

Citations issued:

Jalen Joseph Wilson, 18 of Weaverville, NC. Deputy T. McNinch arrested Wilson for operating a motor vehicle, without having in full force effect the financial responsibility required by law. He is scheduled to appear in court on 6/12/2024.
