Friday, April 26th, The Ambered Jack opened their doors for a “soft” opening serving family and friends both that night and Saturday. Hours at the new restaurant are 11 to 9 Tuesday through Saturday. The food is outstanding with pizzas, pastas, subs, salads, wings, and nightly specials plus a line of desserts (see menu below). The Ambered Jack name is a throwback to the late 60s and 70s when the restaurant was “The Amber Jack”. Laura Boyd’s family also goes back 2 generations in the restaurant business at this location. Originally her grandfather, Bill Riddle owned the restaurant as “Yancey Fish Camp”, then her parents Larry and Phyllis Silvers owned the restaurant for many years under the name “Yancey Fish and Steakhouse”. Laura and her daughter Lily invite you to come in soon. The Ambered Jack is located just east of Burnsville on Hwy 19E (447 E US Highway 19E) .
