The Home Remedies program offers community-based options to address pain and stress. The focus of the program is to provide proven, effective, and safe options to improve quality of life, with a goal of preventing and/or reducing the use of medications. The community clinics are an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to experience wellness practices and services available in our community at no cost.

The Home Remedies Program also offers free, online courses with strategies for pain management and stress reduction, presented by local complementary health providers. These practices include physical therapy, massage, mindfulness, examination of thought patterns, nutrition, and tai chi. This course is freely available to access at your own pace and convenience.

Mitchell and Yancey residents can also earn vouchers for individual treatment services. To sign up for the online classes, learn more about the Home Remedies program and events, visit www.path-homeremedies.org, or call (828) 214-7885.
