Steve Aaron Ammons, age 42, of Green Mountain, passed away unexpectedly in Chatham County on Monday, April 29th, 2024. A native of Lee County, he was a son of Steve Ammons and Christy Sloan Benton.
Steve was fun to be around. He enjoyed fishing and going to the beach. He dearly loved his family.
Surviving in addition to his parents, Steve and Christy, are his sons: Caleb Aaron Ammons and Noah Troy Ammons; daughter, Anastasia Ammons; step-father, Page Benton III of Chadbourn, NC; sister, Sarah Yager of Garner, NC; brother, Chad Bishop of Sandford and fiancée, Jennifer Floyd of Marion, NC. Many friends also survive.
