Larry Wilson, age 76, of Burnsville, passed away on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at Watauga Medical Center.
A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Bradley and Ruby McCurry Wilson. He was also preceded in death by brother, Steve Wilson.
Larry enjoyed fishing and camping on Lake James and Lake Santee as well as going to the beach. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt and NASCAR fan.
Surviving is his daughter, Angie Parker and husband, Jermaine, of Fairview; grandchildren: Jazmyne, Kenyon and Griffen; sisters: Barbara Pate and Debbie Wilson of Burnsville and Denny Wilson and wife, Sherry, also of Burnsville. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
