James Lee Hughes, age 55, of the Fox Creek Community, passed away on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at Mission Hospital. A native of Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of the late Virginia Copass Griffith. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Vinson.
Surviving is his two daughters: Shelby Hughes (Russell Estepp) of Mars Hill and Jessica Hughes (Tony Bartlett) of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren: Abby Bartlett and Anthony Bartlett and the mother of his children, Betty Smith Indianapolis, IN.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
