NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE YANCEY COUNTY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Yancey County Planning and Development Commission pursuant
to N.C.G.S. 153A-40(b) and N.C.G.S. 143-318.12(b)(2) has called a SPECIAL MEETING. The
meeting shall be held at the following time and place:
Date of Meeting: July 8, 2024
Time of Meeting: 4:30 p.m.
Place of Meeting: Burnsville Town Hall, Mark W. Bennett Board Room

Purpose of the meeting: To discuss, update and possibly take action a budget revision to
the 2024/2025 FY EDC budget; annual funding amounts from local
governments; search for an Executive Director;
