Donald Lee Gouge age 81, of Fletcher, NC went home to be with the Lord August 4, 2024 following an extended illness. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the son of the late Paul and Irene Johnson Gouge. Donald was a graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He retired from General Medical where he was a Sales Manager after many years of service.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife Molly Gouge, daughters Debbie (Chris) and Daphne, sons Danny and Donnie (Marla), four grandchildren, and sister Ginger Peterson (Mike) and their family.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Henline – Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Peterson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Gouge Cemetery on Gouge Cove Rd.
