Cintha Rosas-Madrigal

Cinthia Madrigal, age 15, of the South Toe Community, went Home to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 11th, 2025 at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.

A native of Mitchell County, she was a daughter of Iris Madrigal. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Antonio Madrigal.

Cinthia was a playful, creative and funny girl. She was always humble and generous to everyone. Her family will always remember her as a sweet innocent baby who always had a big heart. From being a great daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and granddaughter, she never failed to make everyone laugh.

Her friends all described her as a helpful, humble and protective friend. Cinthia loved to play soccer, draw, paint and make bracelets.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Iris, is her sisters: Jazmin Madrigal and Johanna Madrigal; brother-in-law, Haiden Rodriguez; nephew, Dominic Madrigal; grandparents: Yolanda and Roberto Madrigal; aunts and uncles: Antonio Tapia and wife, Rosa E. Fabin, Margarita Madrigal, Frank Madrigal and Santiago Escamilla; her cousins: Brian, Madyline, Benjamin, Jayden and Niomi and her godparents: Elvira Sanchez and Leobardo Sanchez of Spruce Pine.

Cinthia will forever be loved and remembered with a big smile.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 16th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Father Oscar will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
