Jania Ann Ollis went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2024.
Born on March 3, 1964, Jania was the only daughter of the late Wayne and Joyce Ann Biddix Ollis.
She was a Daddy’s girl at heart and a carbon copy of her mama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her very special best friend Judy Ledford.
Although she never had children of her own Jania played a large role in raising her nephew and nieces. As well as being a caregiver at times to their children. She had a special place in her heart for children, Especially Marley.
Jania had an ability to make friends wherever she was, she had a great love for others. Quick with a welcoming smile and a contagious laugh, that will be missed by many. But she is smiling now as she has never before in the presentence of her Savior Jesus Christ.
Jania loved attending church and her church family she was so sad when her health no longer allowed her to go. She was so grateful when her church started having online services, so she could still be a part of her home church.
Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Joe Ollis (Lynn) and Ben Ollis (Cindy) all of Spruce Pine, nieces, Kristin, Alisha (Randall), Hannah (Scott) and Kayla and nephew, Jake (Kalie) great nieces and nephews, Austin, Dawson, Makenlee, Ashley, Joey, Georgia, Emory, and Memphis and cousins, Denise, Susie, Karen, Kim and Janet.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday August 16, 2024, in the Grassy Creek Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Nathan Silver officiating.
The family wishes to thank Hospice and Homecare of the Blue Ridge and to all the extended family and friends who made it possible for us to care for Jania.
