Tina Louise House

Tina Louise House, age 67, of Biggerstaff Road in Spruce Pine, graduated to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville, NC after an almost two and a half year battle with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma.

She was born on September 1, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to the late William Roy McHone, Sr. and the late Doris Graves McHone.

Tina graduated in January, 1974 from W.W. Samuel High School in Dallas, TX. She was the editor of The Sentinel, the high school newspaper, and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a proud retiree from the Department of Veterans Affairs at the V.A. Hospital in Dallas, TX.

She leaves behind those who she fiercely loved; the love of her life, her best friend, caregiver and amazing husband, William ‘Ron’ House; her daughters; Carrie and husband, Kevin Lahaie of Anaheim, CA and Robyn and husband, Kyle Thomson of Sydney, Australia; and not to be forgotten, her fur baby, Layla Leanne House. She also leaves behind her bonus kids; Nick, Natalie, Ashley, Beau, and Jaime; her brother, William McHone and wife, Betty Pruett McHone of Kaufman, TX; her sisters; Sharon McHone Davis and husband, Riley Davis of Grand Prairie, TX and Tammy Darlene McHone of Farmers Branch, TX.

A memorial service will be on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Spruce Pine First Baptist Church with Dr. Rocky Branch officiating.
