Ending its landmark 50th season, Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre is excited to host local golfers for the 4th annual SART Golf Tournament at Mount Mitchell Golf Club in Burnsville, North Carolina. SART has drawn acclaim for each of its eight productions this season, and the tournament aims to raise funds for productions during the next season at SART. In the past, the tournament has served as a vital event for the theatre, drawing both community attention and resources to the non-profit during the start of the theatre’s offseason. Taking place Friday, August 23rd, theatre staff hope that the annual event may expose new audiences to SART. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 10am, and a new vehicle from Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville will be given for a hole-in-one. In addition, a variety of prizes, such as free rounds of golf and gift certificates, will also be given to winners. Registration for teams is still open.
