Two Rosman High School students died this weekend in an ATV accident. According to North Carolina State Highway Patrol A 911 call was made at 1:06am Sunday morning.
The two teenagers were traveling southbound on Old Wagon Road near Presley Fields when they ran off the road, struck a tree and were both ejected from the vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is an active investigation and the names have not been officially released at this time. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol believes excessive speed was the underlying cause of the accident.
