Baby Jerry Carter Morrow, lovingly named after his great-grandpa Gouge, was born on Sunday, September 1, 2024, to his father, John Cody Morrow, and his mother, Mariah Noel Gouge Morrow.
On Monday, September 2, 2024, Baby Carter closed his little eyes, and in an instant, opened them wide and saw the face of Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jerry Gouge, John and Opha Morrow, and James and Phyllis Cheek.
Left to cherish his precious memory are his father and mother, Cody and Mariah Morrow; grandparents: Robert and Jennifer Gouge, and Ben and Particia Morrow; and great-grandparents: Jo Gouge, and Doug and Janice Ballew; aunts and uncles: Sierra and Isaac Ledford, Logan Gouge, Ila and Bo Morrow, and Samm and Bobby Boone; cousins: Rowan Ledford, Ellie Street, Kilee Morrow, Cloey Morrow, Colby Morrow, Korbin Morrow, Kane Boone, and Kase Boone.
A private graveside burial will be held in Burnsville, NC.
An Angel in the Book of Life wrote down my baby’s birth, and whispered as she closed the book, “Too beautiful for Earth”.
