Robert Lee Queen, age 77, of White Rock Road in Spruce Pine, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at his home in Spruce Pine.
Born on December 3, 1946 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Pearl Huskins Queen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Woody and a brother, Paul Queen.
Robert was a veteran of Vietnam War that served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Henredon Furniture.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jerri Greene Queen of the home; his brother, David Queen and wife, Nancy of Newland, several nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be in the McKinney Gap Cemetery.
