Carol Sue Wilson Crissone, age 75 of Burnsville, went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Born on May 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Foye Edna Crowder Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde Crissone; brothers: Lawrence Wilson, Ernest Wilson, and Woodrow Wilson, Jr.; and sisters: Bernice Edwards, Jewel Pierce, and Wilma Johnson.
Carol worked for Ingles Supermarket as the produce manager until she retired. She loved working in her garden and tending to her flowers.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers: Ray Wilson, Charles Michael Wilson, and Roger Dale Wilson; sisters: Wanda Johnson, and Betty Lou King; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home in Burnsville, NC. The family will receive friends and loved ones one hour prior to the service for visitation. Reverend Denny Wilson will be officiating. Interment will be held the following day at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Wilson Cemetery, in Burnsville, NC.
