Angela Louise Street age 62 of Bakersville passed away Thursday September 12, 2024, at the Greens of Spruce Pine. Born in Sullivan County, TN, she was a daughter of the late John Nichols and Dorothy Guy Nichols Forbes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Larry Street.
Angela was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bakersville. She worked several years for Ethan Allen and then later in the Deli at Ingles. She enjoyed coloring and playing bingo and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memories is her daughter Lisa Street of Spruce Pine, grandson, Jacob Chrisawn, granddaughter, Anna Goodwin both of Bakersville sisters, Vickie Ward and husband Harold and Debbie Rea and husband Craig all of Bakersville, a special friend Jack Goodwin her fur baby Cotton Tail and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Street will be held at 3:00 pm Monday September 16, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Bakersville with the Revs. Tim Watson and Randy Wise officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the service hour at the church. Interment will follow in the Fork Mountain Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Webb Funeral Home 128 Roan Road Spruce Pine, NC 28777 to help the family with funeral expenses.
