Kenneth Letterman “Booky”, age 62, of Estatoe, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2024. A native of the Crabtree Community, he was a son of the late Robert and Betty Letterman. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Letterman Childers and a brother, Richard M. “Ricky” Letterman.
Booky was a member of Crabtree Chapel Baptist Church where later in life he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour. His church family was very special to him and was grateful they always inspired him with love to live for the Lord. He loved going to car shows and always enjoyed animals, especially his dog, Axel. Booky will be remembered as a very likeable guy who was so easy to get along with.
Surviving is his nephew, Shawn Huskins (Becky Yelton) of Seven Mile Ridge; niece, Shannon England (Rev. Jonathan England) of Crossville, TN; great-nephews: Kyle Yelton (Martina) of Bakersville, Nick Yelton of Seven Mile Ridge, and Gus England and Max England, both of Crossville, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Crabtree Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Jason Kritz and Rev. Jonathan England will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
