Yancey County Commissioners is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the Yancey County Resource Center. This site is home to the Yancey County Farmers Market, and the offices of Yancey County Mapping, Addressing and Veterans Affairs.
On Saturday mornings you will find the Yancey County Farmers Market in full swing during the months of April – November. Other times it is available to the public to reserve for private use. This outside covered venue is great for large gatherings to celebrate many occasions- birthdays, family reunions, class reunions, wedding showers ,baby showers, or to hold classes.
We are excited for the building to be used as another venue for our community said, Lynn Austin, Yancey County Manager.
