Alex Steven Biddix age 51 of Spruce Pine passed away Thursday October 10, 2024, at his residence.
Born in McDowell County, he was a son of the late Manuel Biddix and Rebecca Duncan Biddix Hedrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheyenne Biddix, brother Joseph Shew-Biddix and an infant brother.
Alex worked as a carpenter, he was a member of First Freewill Baptist in Spruce Pine and was a former member of the Newdale Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife Katherine Cooper Biddix of the home, sons Jax and Zeke Biddix of the home and Terry Biddix of Burnsville, daughters, Nicki Rife of AR, Bethany Biddix of Burnsville and Brooklin Biddix of Forest City, sisters, Christina Biddix of Spruce Pine and Denise Davis of KA, Paternal grandmother, Hortense Biddix of Spruce Pine, grandsons, Justin Coltharp, Carson Coltharp, Clifford Crain, Aaron Robinson, Aiden Biggs and Manuel Biddix, step father Rev. Ralph Hedrick and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Biddix will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday October 15, 2024, at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Spruce Pine with the Rev. Ralph Hedrick and Mr. Travis Wynkoop officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Webb Funeral Home 128 Roan Road Spruce Pine, NC 28777 to help the family with funeral expenses.
