Carolyn Young Snyder age 91 of Spruce Pine passed away Friday October 11, 2024, at the Twelve Oaks Assisted Living Center in Mt. Airy.
Born in Mitchell County, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Myrtle Davenport Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Snyder and fourteen half brothers and sisters.
Carolyn was a member of Pine Branch Baptist Church she graduated from Bowman High School and worked twenty-nine years for Wellborn’s in Spruce Pine.
Left to cherish her memories is her brother John H. Young and wife Faye of Hickory and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mrs. Snyder will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday October 16, 2024, in the Pine Branch Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Cannon officiating.
