Larry Dean Williams, age 68, of Burnsville, went to be with his family in Heaven on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Howard and Vernie Hensley Williams. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Gage and sister, Joy Ball. Larry Dean enjoyed gardening and spending time with his four-legged baby, Sampson.
Surviving is his best friend and former wife, Thelma Bowens Williams; children: Michael Williams of Micaville, Crystal Williams of Spruce Pine and Karen Carroll and husband, Randall, of Banks Creek; seven grandchildren and many other extended family members also survive.
