Margaret Beth McCurry, age 88 of Micaville, NC, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born on July 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Albert Steven Johnson and Mabel Clark Johnson. Margaret was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip Ray McCurry; two sisters: Hazel Franklin and Melba Jean Bartlett; and a son, Scott Albert McCurry.
She was a life-long member of Newdale Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Phillip McCurry, and wife, Donna, of Old Fort, Allen Ray McCurry, and wife, Monica, of Atlanta Georgia; sisters: Mary Lou Buchanan of Boone, NC, and Judy Bartlett of South Toe; grandchildren: Liam McCurry of Birmingham, AL, Conal McCurry of Brookhaven, GA, and Declan McCurry of Woodstock, GA; as well as five great grandchildren: Jason, Russell, Hyatt, and Beathon McCurry.
At Margaret’s request, no services are being held.
