Numerous people reported hearing a loud boom in the Burnsville area on Monday morning, November 4th. The noise came from the Burnsville water intake pump located in Pensacola. According to Burnsville Town Clerk, Chad Fox, “The pump has already been replaced and there was no effect on the water plant because of a scheduled line connection at the plant.”
