On Saturday evening, November 9th, at around 6 PM, South Toe Fire and Rescue emergency responders received a report of a vehicle fire on Cabbage Patch Road. Initial reports indicated that the fire involved a dump truck fully engulfed in flames, with a substantial fuel load and nearby structures at risk.

With the potential for structural damage, local fire crews swiftly called for assistance from the Newdale Fire Department, the closest mutual aid resource. Nearby responders arrived quickly on the scene, ensuring all vehicle occupants were safely out and assessing the risk to surrounding structures. Fortunately, the threat to buildings was deemed minimal.

Minutes later, firefighting teams arrived and managed to contain and extinguish the blaze, preventing any escalation.
