Jeffrey Francis Walters passed away on the morning of November 21, 2024, in Spruce Pine, NC.
A resident of Burnsville, NC, he was born on November 16, 1961, to Thomas L. and Joan M. Walters in Portsmouth, VA. Jeff leaves behind, not only his parents, but his loving devoted wife of 38 years, Ronda Kay (Hunter) Walters, his cherished son, Joseph Ray Walters, one brother, Tom A. Walters and his wife, Susan Walters, one sister, Elizabeth Blackston, and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and many dear valued family and friends throughout NC and SC.
Jeff deeply loved his family and friends, but especially he loved his creator Jehovah God and his son, Jesus. Jeff realized his death as being only temporary and placed his hope and faith in the promised new earthly resurrection shown at John 5:28 & 29 and Revelation 21: 3 & 4.
Jeff’s hobbies and interest were numerous, from many outdoor activities to all types of skills and talents in working with his hands. He found so much humor and happiness in life and loved sharing his endless mountain exploring adventures with others.
Anyone and everyone who knew Jeff understood his true zeal for life. Even through his illness he strived to continue his many projects. A truly unique and incredible individual, Jeff will forever be in our hearts until we see him again with open arms to welcome him back.
A Memorial event is planned at the Burnsville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for December 7, 2024, Saturday at 2:00 P.M. (Zoom attendance available for those unable to personally attend.)
