Shirley Ann Shelton Silvers, age 86 of Burnsville, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Born on October 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Turner Pate and Dora Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Dewey Silvers.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Faron (Sylvia) Silvers of Burnsville; daughter, Deborah (Wallace) Burke of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren: Heather, Jennifer, Robert, and Jonathon; great-grandchildren: Katie, Charlie (Kelsey), Miaka, Sebastian, and Riley; and one great-great grandchild, Raylen.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home in Burnsville, NC. The family will be receiving friends and loved ones one hour prior to the service for visitation. Interment will follow the service at the Pate Cemetery in Burnsville, NC.
