November is Career Development Month and in celebration students at Mitchell Middle School participated in the CTE Career ID Contest. Students were sent a poster with the “Tools of the Trade” for 5 different careers. They had to identify each of the careers using only the equipment needed by each career. Many students correctly identified the 5 different careers which included a Cosmetologist, Electrician, Radiologist, Potter and Accountant. Correct guesses for each day were entered into a drawing for a prize. They were awarded a Mitchell CTE t-shirt and magnet. Winning students were Rhiannon Braswell, Gus Chenoweth, Aubree Biddix, Harper Pitman and Kynlee Buchanan. Congrats to these students on a great job!
