Tommy Lee Miller, age 82, of Brushy Creek Road in Spruce Pine, the Estatoe community, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at his home.
Born on August 4, 1942 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Hattie Forbes Miller. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother; Jim Miller and his sisters; June Atkins, Rexie Atkins, Harriett Wilson and Mae Parker.
Tommy was a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He loved old cars was a collector of antique cars and enjoyed going to car shows. He loved spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of thirty-eight years; Carolyn Wiseman Miller of the home; his sons; Thomas Clay Miller of Spruce Pine and Travis Lee Miller and wife, Becky of Ledger; his daughter; Tammy Campbell and husband, Steve of Ledger; his grandchildren; Tiffany, Tenesha, Jaden and Jakk; his great grandchildren; Kelci, Kendrix, Kambry, Letti, and Kane; several nieces and nephews.
A time to support the family, share memories, and receive friends will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Liberty Hill Baptist Church. The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Frady officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
