In the early morning on December 16th, the Spruce Pine Police Department responded to the Spruce Pine Chevrolet building and found it had been broken into. During the investigation officers found that five total vehicles had been stolen, a 2025 Corvette, a GMC Yukon, a GMC Canyon, a 3500 Sierra and a 2021Yukon. They believe there were possibly five or six suspects involved. The Spruce Pine Police Department is working with surrounding agencies including the Stat Bureau of Investigation. As of this morning they have found and located three of the vehicles that have been stolen. This is an active investigation and we are working tirelessly to catch the people that are responsible.
