Ashley Presnell Phillips

Ashley Presnell Phillips, beloved wife, most wonderful and devoted mother ever and precious daughter, age 36, of Spring Hill Road, Bakersville, was welcomed to her heavenly home on December 20th.

Her beautiful spirit, infectious smile and loving heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Ashley absolutely adored her two boys, Jesse and Isaac. They were her whole world and she loved making memories with them. She loved playing card and board games with her family and attending Isaac’s sporting events. She inherited her artistic skills from her dad and passed them on to her son, Jesse. Ashley and her mom treasured their walking time together, shopping and family trips.

Ashley was a native of Mitchell County and was employed as a Care Manager at Crossnore Communities for Children. She is survived by Dillon, her loving husband of 12 years, sons, Jesse and Isaac, parents, Sam and Patty Presnell, paternal grandmother, Dorothy Presell, father and mother-in-law, Keynan and Rhonda Phillips, sister-in-law, Katie Martin and husband, Chad, and brother-in-law, Thomas Phillips. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bob and Wilma McKinney, and paternal grandfather, Burl Presnell.

We would like to invite all of Ashley’s family and friends to a celebration of her life on Saturday, December 28th, at Roan Mountain Baptist Church.
