We are making progress on our building restoration! Beginning Monday, December 30, Yancey County DSS will open our lobby to the public. Reception staff will be available to assist with general inquiries and processing paperwork Our regular office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Our post-flood building restoration is an ongoing process. As such, most of our staff is still displaced from their offices and may not be immediately available for face-to-face meetings at the agency. If you have specific questions about your benefits or case please call the agency and leave a message for your caseworker. We are continuing to provide all services.
