Kimsey Hughes age 83 of Green Mountain passed away Wednesday January 15, 2025, at the Greens of Spruce Pine.
Born in Mitchell County, he was a son of the late Roe and Bertha Tipton Hughes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings.
Kimsey worked as a Logger and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Rhonda Siemerling of New Park, Pennsylvania, A son Eugene Hughes of Concord, NC grandchildren, Valerie, Christopher, Jesse and Amber, eight great grandchildren and his sisters, Joyce and Betty.
A graveside service for Mr. Hughes will be at 3:00 pm Saturday January 18, 2025, in the Huntdale Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Saturday at Webb Funeral Home.
