Angela Whitson Byrd

Angela Whitson Byrd, 63, of the Jacks Creek Community in Burnsville, NC, passed away on Monday, January 20th, 2025 at Mission Hospital.

She was the daughter of Fern Miller Whitson of Jacks Creek, whom she cared for daily, and the late Clayton Whitson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Mike Whitson and Dennis Whitson and her faithful canine companion, “Boots” with whom she took many long walks.

Over the years, neighbors, friends, and her children’s numerous friends knew her home was always open to fellowship and to enjoy these famous cookies.  In later years, she loved planting flowers.

Her greatest love was her family, her Lord, and going to church with her faithful friend Sylvia Anglin at Bakers Creek Baptist Church.
