Dallas Roy Hopkins, Jr., age 62 of Marion passed away Wednesday February 5, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
Born in Blair County, PA he was a son of the late Dallas Roy Hopkins, Sr. and Darlene Davies Lane.
Dallas worked as a truck driver, he loved fishing, watching football and baseball, and was very devoted to his children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Christopher Hopkins of Hickory, and Brandon Hopkins (Erika) of Lenoir, his grandchildren, Damien, Dixie, Eric, Tryston and Gabriel, a great granddaughter, Alayia, his siblings Deanna McKinney (Daniel) of Marion, Lee Hopkins of Marion, Michele Kinnoin (Kevin) of Palermo, ND, Donald Hopkins of Marion and Dennis Hopkins of Tyrone, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
