Bruce Randolph, age 68 of Burnsville, NC, went Home to be with the Lord on January 15th, 2025.
Born on May 26th, 1956, he was the grandson of the late Alvin and Lennie Randolph. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Randolph of Johnson City, TN, and sister, Vickie Klein of California.
Bruce had traveled all over the U.S, but his heart always remained in the mountains. He enjoyed hiking, camping, exploring the caves, picking berries, digging for ramps, and teaching the kids how to swim in the river. He fought some internal battles throughout his life but his love for God never wavered. Toward the end of his life here on earth, there was not a doubt in his mind he was going to Heaven, and he was at peace. Helping others brought him joy and he felt a tremendous desire to help others physically and spiritually. He strived to ensure that others made it to Heaven with him.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Josh and Paul Randolph of Burnsville, NC; daughter, Ruby Randolph of Yadkinville, NC; sisters, Linda Deyton of Zephyrhills FL; Caren Jones of Asheville, NC; Deborah King Charlotte, NC; and sister-in-law, Nina Randolph of Johnson City, TN.
A small graveside service will be held up on Bald Mountain, February 15th at 1 pm at 1095 Silas Branch Rd. Burnsville, NC 28714. All are welcome.
