The Yancey County Transportation Authority celebrated the grand opening of its new facility on Friday, February 28th at 600 Medical Campus Drive in Burnsville..
The celebration was hosted by Michael Harris, Director of the Transportation Office, in partnership with Lynn Austin, County Manager, along with the Yancey County Commissioners and esteemed partners:

This new facility, funded through the State of North Carolina and matching funds provided by the County Commissioners, represents a significant milestone in the county’s commitment to providing efficient and reliable transportation services to the community. We were thrilled to celebrate this achievement with the community and look forward to continuing to serve the transportation needs of Yancey County.
