Linda Goodson, age 78, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Greens of Spruce Pine.
Born on November 15, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late L.C. and Margarete Iwrin Ervin.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, George Ralph Goodson, Sr., a son, George R. Goodson, Jr., and her grandchildren; Joshua Alan Hare and Jessica Ann Hare.
Linda loved to work with crocheting. She also enjoyed drawing, sewing, gardening and canning.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter; Lisa Duncan Loudermilk and husband, Danny Loudermilk of Spring City, TN, her sons; Larry Stanley and wife, Lisa of Lebanon, TN, Michael Merriman and wife, Kathie of Enka, NC, Darryl Merriman and wife, Melanie of Enka, NC and Paul Goodson of Marion, her brother; Larry Ervin of Alexandria, TN, her sisters; Janice Ayers of Gallatin, TN and Anita Cantrell of Watertown, TN, five grandchildren and one great grandson.
A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Linda will be planned for a later date.
