Brittany Michelle Rose, age 34, of Sullins Branch Road in Spruce Pine, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville.
Brittany was born on May 18, 1990 in Mitchell County. She was the daughter of Lewis and Sue Ann Whitfield Rose. She was preceded in death by her brother Lewis Edward Rose, Jr., paternal grandfather, Edward Rose, her maternal grandparents, Rev. William and Jeanette Whitfield, and an aunt, Deborah Thomas.
Brittany was a member of Big Crabtree Baptist Church. She loved being with her family. She loved watching t.v. and listening to music. She also loved being on her computer and tablet, playing computer games, playing with toys and her fur babies, Scooby and Bailey. Most of all, she wanted everyone to know Jesus.
Left to cherish her memories are her parents; Lewis and Sue Ann Rose of Spruce Pine, her paternal grandmother, Glady Rose of Spruce Pine, her very best friend and cousin, Abbie Laws of Burnsville, aunts and uncles.
A time to share memories, support the family and receive friends will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The service honoring the life of Brittany Rose will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev’s. Dean Honeycutt and Bryan Griffith officiating. Interment will be in Sullins Branch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either; Shriners Hospital for Children www.shrinerschildren.org or Gideons www.gideons.org
The family would like to extend a ‘Thank You’ to the Mission Hospital I.C.U. department and Respiratory Techs and Dr. Daniel Fertel for their wonderful care of Brittany.
