Nicholas Shane Bradshaw, age 34, left us too soon on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, and he will never be forgotten. A native of Durham, NC, he was a son of Barry Watson and Vicki Diane Bradshaw. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shelby Street; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Martha Watson; stepfather, Dallas Garland; and an uncle, Randall Street.
He was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams include Duke basketball, Atlanta Braves baseball, and Georgia Bulldogs football. He loved listening to country music. He had a passion for cooking and loved sharing recipes with his sister and brother-in-law. Nicholas had a special bond with his sister and they were always sharing old movies from their childhood and teenage years. He also loved playing golf with his best friend, Anthony Valls.
In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory are his adored daughter, McKinnley Bradshaw; sister, Amber Spencer and husband, John, and his brother, Alexander Garland, all of Johnson City, TN; stepsister, Hope Cole of Lumber Bridge, NC; nieces and nephews: Jayden, Mickia, Grant and Oakley; and his best friend, Anthony Valls of Ledger. He is also survived by his uncle, Ricky Wright, and aunt, Doris Lingerfelt who were very special to him and were always there for him, as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 13th in the chapel of Yancey Funeral Services.
