Charles D. “Charlie” Mosley Jr., age 50, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2024. He was born in Spruce Pine, NC on October 6, 1975 to Charles “Shorty” Mosley and the late Janie Franklin Mosley. Charlie is preceded in death as well by his grandparents Frank and Louetta Mosley, and Joe and Joyce Franklin; and a brother-in-law, Rod Pettinato.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Renee, and their daughter, Sofia; his father, Charles Mosley Sr.; brother-in-law, Russ Pettinato (Judy); and sisters-in-law: Rhonda Pettinato Dudis (John) and Kelly Monohan Pettinato. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th at 6:30 pm in the Middle District Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Laws officiating. A reception will be held in the Middle District Freewill Baptist Fellowship Hall following the service.
