Bobby Ray Putman 88, of Jonesborough, TN passed away on May 29, 2025, at his home.
Born in Bakersville to the late Halder and Bernice Ledford Putman.
Bobby lived most of his life in Tennessee. He later retired from TPI Corporation after many years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents Halder and Bernice Ledford Putman. One brother JH Putman and his lifelong companion Anna Mae Tipton.
Left to cherish his memories are his brother Wade Putman (Betty) One niece Lisa Jarrett (David). Two Nephews Ricky Putman (Sandra) and Phillip Putman (Tammy). Along with his special friends and caregivers Joshua and Melissa Ley.
A Graveside service for Mr. Putman will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Mosley Cemetery in Bakersville, NC, with the Rev G.B. Garland officiating. Pall Bearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritans Purse.
