Hal Everett Campbell, age 81, of Hughes Road in Bakersville, the Buladean community passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 at his home.
Born on May 2, 1944 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Nave and Daisy Mosley Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers; Fred, Wayne and Earl Campbell, his sisters; Margaret Humphries and Peggy Cox and his sister-in-law; Mattie Lee Campbell.
Hal was a member of the Buladean Presbyterian Church. He was a forty-two-year member of Bakersville Masonic Lodge #357 A.F. & A.M and was a past master. He was a lifelong farmer and was a member of the Board of Directors of Mitchell County Farm Bureau. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed working on the farm, being on his tractor and watching sports on TV.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of sixty-one years; Dorothy Webb Campbell of the home, his son; Chris Campbell and wife, Betsy of Racine, WI, his daughter; Sherry Campbell of Bakersville; his grandsons; Kell Farley and wife, Jessica of Spruce Pine and Kyle Farley and wife, Brenda of Burnsville , his great grandchildren; Cayma, Christopher, Jarrett, Paxton, Peyton and Tate, his brothers; Wade Campbell of Bakersville and Bobby Campbell and wife, Judy of Charleston, SC, his sister-in-law; Stephanie Campbell of Bakersville and a host of family, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral services for Hal Campbell will be on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev.Garland Honeycutt and Rev. Marvin Sheets officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Garland-Parker Cemetery at the Buladean Presbyterian Church with Masonic graveside rites provided by Bakersville Masonic Lodge #357 A.F. & A.M.
