Mr. Jerry Ezzelle, age 90, of Burnsville, passed on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at Yancey House in Burnsville.
He was born on May 8th, 1935, in Rocky Mount, NC, to the late Moseley Ezzelle and Ollie English Ezzelle
Mr. Ezzelle spent his working years as an instrument mechanic in the paper industry and was of the Methodist faith. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. Mr. Ezzelle enjoyed woodworking and spending time outdoors, watching birds and hiking, with Sandra, his wife of 56 years.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Ezzelle; daughter, Linda Daniels (Dan); grandchildren, Jonathan Daniels, Claire Daniels, and Adam Daniels.
In addition to his parents Mr. Ezzelle was preceded in death by Sandra; sister Carol Clack and brother, Patrick Ezzelle.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. A private burial will take place prior to the memorial service.
