Penland School Cancels Fireworks Due to Fire Danger

Spruce Pine Independence Day Celebration – Downtown July 5th

• Parade: The Kiwanis Club of Spruce Pine will host the parade, which will take place on Oak Avenue in downtown Spruce Pine. 
• Live Music: Saving|Shirley Band will be performing live during the celebration
• Fireworks: The evening will conclude with a fireworks display.
• Other Activities: There will also be vendors, kids’ activities, and other entertainment throughout the day.
